Alcohol
Education and Recovery Services is a provider of first offender
and second offender DUI programs. A.E.R.S. has been providing
these services since 1982. Our Chino office provides the Wet
Reckless program as well as four, six, and nine-month first
offender programs. |
In
addition, Chino also provides the 18-month multiple offender program.
All classes in Chino are offered in English and Spanish. The program
is licensed by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs
to provide DUI services. A.E.R.S. provides DUI services to individuals
who have been ordered by the driving to attend as well as individual
seeking to get there license back from the DMV. The following information
provides program requirements and costs.

Program Information
Clients are required to pay the initial down payment and are able
to make payments on the balance. In addition, there is no prepayment
penalty for paying off the balance early. Monthly payments range
from $84.00 to $110.00 a month. Weekly payment arrangements can
also be made. Financial assessments are available to those that
qualify to extend payments and lower the monthly payment.

How
long is the program, and how much does it cost?
The Wet and Reckless Program is 6 weeks long, and costs $188. The
First Offender Level 1 Program is 16 weeks long, and costs $596.
The First Offender Level 2, 6 month Program is 29 weeks long, and
costs $872. The First Offender Level 2 Program is 44 weeks long, and
costs $1186.00. The Multiple Offender Program is 18 months long, and
costs $1,477.
What
day do you hold classes?
We offer classes in the evening during the week, in the morning
during the week, and on Saturday mornings.
Can
I accelerate the program?
No, you cannot accelerate the program. You must take the required
amount of weeks from start to finish.
How
do I get my Drivers License back?
In most circumstances you will be able to get a restricted license
after your mandatory suspension period. You will need to provide
the DMV with a SR22, proof of insurance; a reissue fee, usually
$100; and a form from the DUI program showing proof of enrollment,
called a DL107.
Do
I have to do AA meetings?
The county of San Bernardino does not require AA meetings. However,
you must complete any requirements that Judge has sentenced you
to.
What
is the enrollment process?
The enrollment process consists of Intake and Orientation. The enrollment
process takes approximately one and a half hours. During this time
you will fill out intake information sheets, read and sign a contract,
attend an orintation class, and have an intake interview with a
counselor. You will need to bring in your driving paperwork, your
ticket, and the enrollment fee. We do the intake by appointment
only. It usually takes at least 7 days to get an appointment.
